Why Author’s Comment Box?

Because your posts deserve more than a generic comment thread.
Use the comment box to add final thoughts, disclaimers, PS messages, or mini-CTAs — all controlled by the author.

Per-post or global defaults

Set a global default message, then override it per post whenever you need something custom.

Above or below comments

Choose whether the box shows above comments, below comments, or both — per post or globally.

Works with most themes

Hooks into the standard comments template, so it plays nice with Astra and most modern themes.

How It Works

1. Install & activate
2. Set your defaults
3. Customize per post

Upload the plugin zip, activate it, and go to Settings → DragoApps → Author’s Comment Box.

Choose where the box appears and set a default message for all posts.

On any post, edit the Author’s Comment Box message in the meta box and save.

FAQ

Is Author’s Comment Box really free?

Yes. It’s a free plugin from DragoApps. No pro unlocks, no tracking scripts, no “trial” nonsense. Simply register for free then access your download dashboard to get your free license code.

If your theme uses the standard WordPress comments template, it should work out of the box. If your theme does something wild and custom, you might need a small template tweak.

Nope. It adds an author-controlled box around your comments section. Your normal comment form and existing comments stay exactly the same. You can choose in the Settings area if you want this box above or below the content.

Yes. Our FREE plugins follow the Open Source GPL standards. You’ll have basic styling options in the plugin settings, and you can add custom CSS if you want deeper control.
